A platform for an international conference dedicated to the doctors' well-being movement: from the first save-the-date to a confirmed registration.
The Challenge
Four things had to stand up at once. The subject is genuinely hard (burnout, moral injury, even physician suicide), so the tone had to carry real gravity without sliding into despair and without ever sounding like marketing. The content sprawls: dozens of faculty members from nine countries, a three-day multi-track program, thirteen partner institutions, four distinct audiences and four price tiers, all of which had to stay easy to navigate and trustworthy from the first visit. The audience is senior (wellness directors, deans, hospital boards), so the site had to feel as rigorous as the science it represents. And registration runs on a third-party platform, EventsAir, so everything had to hand off cleanly across the four tiers without ever losing the visitor's momentum.
How I Built It
A custom WordPress theme on a restrained design system: calm palette, generous typography, serious but warm. Everything the organizer touches is modeled as editable content: the expert committee and advisory board, a faculty directory you can filter by role with a downloadable PDF bio for each speaker, the partner bands, the day-by-day program rendered as structured schedule tables, four price tiers, the Valencia host-city guide and an FAQ section. The organizers can confirm new faculty every month and publish program updates without a developer in the loop. A fixed registration bar follows the visitor on every page, and each price tier links straight to the right EventsAir link, so the path from “I'm interested” to “I'm registered” never breaks. Responsive from the first breakpoint, fast, SEO-clean, with privacy-friendly video embeds and managed cookie consent.

Everything editable
Committee and advisory board, a filterable faculty directory with PDF bios, partner bands, day-by-day schedule tables, four price tiers, the Valencia guide and an FAQ, all modelled as content the organizer edits.
