Editorial site for a medical congress organizer
A refined, editorial site for Romania's leading medical congress organizer (PCO), where twenty years of scientific events meet modern motion and craft.
The Challenge
A medical PCO audience has zero patience for generic SaaS aesthetics. The site had to feel trustworthy to a scientific committee and magnetic to a marketing lead, in the same breath. It also had to solve a practical problem: a content team running events for 40+ specialties needed a publishing flow that didn't require a developer for every new congress, accreditation badge or speaker.
How I Built It
A Tailwind-powered WordPress build, structured around a disciplined design system: Geist Sans for headings, General Sans for text, tight tracking, generous spacing and a single red accent doing the heavy lifting. The home page opens with an interactive 3D hero (Spline) that lazy-mounts via IntersectionObserver, so it never costs performance off-screen, then hands off to editorial sections: a typographic marquee of event formats, services with images that appear on hover, a chip-based specialties grid, stats and an about block with a careful rhythm. ACF drives every section, so the PROevents team owns its content end to end.

Results That Matter
The team publishes congresses, accreditation badges and speakers on its own, across 40+ specialties, and the site reads the way the work does: scientific, calm and modern. The 3D hero loads only when it enters the viewport, so the motion never costs performance off-screen.
