A premium barbershop brand from Cluj-Napoca: an atmospheric, editorial site tuned to turn 5-star word of mouth into bookings.
The Challenge
Local service sites drown in templates. Hidden Studio needed to feel like a place, warm, discreet, a little theatrical, not a booking form with a background image. It also had to work with the algorithm: local SEO for searches like “barbershop Cluj-Napoca”, rich structured data, and a mobile experience that loads instantly on flaky 4G between appointments. And the team had to be able to update the schedule, services and prices themselves.
How I Built It
A single-page site in React + Vite, designed dark-first, with Instrument Sans for body text and a Great Vibes script font for the signature moments. Content is split into the five answers every prospective client needs: what, who, where, proof and booking. Social proof shows up immediately (the 5.0 rating, the 1,300+ clients), so the funnel is short. SEO was set up with correct geo metadata, local-business schema and OG images. Shipped on Vercel with edge caching, so time-to-interactive stays under two seconds even on mobile networks.
